WEEKEND CLOSURE OF THE NORTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO WESTBOUND S.R. 836
- The northbound I-95 ramp to westbound SR 836 will be closed continuously starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, July 11, until 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14, to allow the project contractor to replace the existing traffic railing safely. Drivers can:
- Continue north on I-95, then exit at NW 62 Street
- Turn left at NW 62 Street to access the southbound I-95 ramp
- Use the southbound I-95 exit to westbound SR 836 (Exit 3A)

I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – Up to four lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 29 Street to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – Up to four lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed as needed from NW 8 Street to NW 29 Street between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
SOUTHBOUND I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – Three lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 79 Street to NW 58 Street will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. for concrete pavement work.
SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO NW 14 STREET DETOUR
- Tuesday, July 15 – The southbound I-95 ramp to NW 14 Street will be closed as needed for materials delivery between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.

NW 8 STREET RAMP TO NORTHBOUND I-95 CLOSURES
- Wednesday, July 9 – The NW 8 Street ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Schedules will be adjusted for special events. Drivers can:
- Go east on NW 8 Street
- Turn left on NE 1 Avenue
- Enter the westbound I-395 ramp to access northbound I-95

I-395 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Construction of signature bridge arch foundations east of Biscayne Boulevard
- Driving steel sheets into the ground along the I-395 corridor from east of Biscayne Boulevard to I-95
- Nighttime installation of precast roadway segments from east of North Miami Avenue to NW 1 Avenue
NOTE: Nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels during these activities. All efforts are being made to minimize noise levels to the fullest extent possible. - Routine daytime and nighttime testing of ACP foundations
- Ongoing work at the six signature bridge arches, including placement of precast arch segments

DAYTIME LANE CLOSURES ON NE 2 AVENUE
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – Up to two lanes on southbound and northbound NE 2 Avenue from NE 13 Street to I-395 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will be diverted around the work zone.
FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – All travel lanes on Biscayne Boulevard will be closed from NE 11 Street to NE 13 Street between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Daytime lane closures will occur as needed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Closure start times may vary depending on events.

- Turn right on NE 13 Street, then turn left on NE 2 Avenue

S.R. 836 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Nighttime installation of bridge pier cap segments and beams for the S.R. 836 double-decked roadway from NW 17 Avenue to the Miami River.
NOTE: Nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels during these activities. All efforts are being made to minimize noise levels to the fullest extent possible. - Construction of straddle bent over eastbound S.R. 836 just west of NW 7 Avenue
- Driving steel sheets into the ground in the S.R. 836 median between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue
- Chipping concrete from auger cast piles for foundation construction between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue
- Foundation construction on the S.R. 836 median and adjacent roadways from NW 12 Avenue to I-95 for the new double-decked roadway

COMPLETE CLOSURE OF EASTBOUND S.R. 836 AT NW 17 AVENUE
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – All eastbound S.R. 836 travel lanes will be closed at NW 17 Avenue between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. to work on overhead bridge support structures safely. The closures on Fridays will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days. Drivers on eastbound S.R. 836 will:
- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound SR 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND S.R. 836
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – All westbound lanes on S.R. 836 will be closed from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Closure start times may vary depending on events. Drivers can:
- Exit at the NW 12 Avenue ramp, then turn left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 27 Avenue and continue north to connect with the westbound S.R. 836 ramp

SOUTHBOUND STATE ROAD (S.R.) 7/U.S. 441/NW 7 AVENUE LANE CLOSURE
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 – One lane on southbound NW 7 Avenue will be closed from NW 14 Street to NW 15 Street between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The second southbound lane will be shifted to the east side of the roadway around the work zone.
LANE CLOSURES ON NW NORTH RIVER DRIVE/NW 11 STREET
- Wednesday, July 9 Through Friday, July 11 and Sunday, July 13 through Friday, July 18 – Two travel lanes on NW North River Drive/NW 11 Street will be closed from NW 12 Street to NW 13 Avenue between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. and one lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
