I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – Up to four lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 29 Street to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – Up to four lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed as needed from NW 8 Street to NW 29 Street between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO EASTBOUND I-395 DETOUR
- Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – The southbound I-95 ramp to eastbound I-395 will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Continue south on I-95, exit at the NW 8 Street ramp (Exit 3B)
- Turn left on NW 8 Street, continue east on NW 8 Street
- Turn left at Biscayne Boulevard to access the A1A North/Miami Beach Ramp

SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO NW 14 STREET DETOUR
- Thursday, February 19 – The southbound I-95 ramp to NW 14 Street will be closed as needed for materials delivery between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

NW 17 STREET LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – One lane on NW 17 Street from NW 5 Avenue to NW 7 Avenue will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
I-395 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Drainage work along Biscayne Boulevard from NE 14 Street to NE 11 Terrace and on NE 13 Street from Biscayne Boulevard to NE 2 Avenue
- Construction of signature bridge arch foundations east of Biscayne Boulevard and west of NE 2 Avenue
- Installation of precast roadway segments and concrete pours from east of North Miami Avenue to NW 3 Avenue
- Saturday morning sheet pile driving operations adjacent to the Biscayne Boulevard ramp to eastbound MacArthur Causeway

SATURDAY SHEET PILE DRIVING OPERATIONS ADJACENT TO THE BISCAYNE BOULEVARD RAMP TO EASTBOUND MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY
On Saturday morning, February 21, the contractor will be vibrating steel sheet piles into the ground next to a Metromover pier at the location shown above. This work is being coordinated with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works and is scheduled to take place during periods when the Metromover system is offline for upgrade activities. The sheet pile installation will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The work is necessary to relocate an existing Metromover Pier to allow for the widening of the roadway. Every effort will be made to minimize noise as much as possible; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher than normal noise levels. No lane closures will be required for this operation. Schedule information for additional Saturday work will be provided in future updates.
I-395 MAINLINE LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – One lane on mainline eastbound I-395 will be closed as needed from I-95 to Biscayne Boulevard between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – Up to two lanes on mainline westbound I-395 will be closed as needed from Biscayne Boulevard to I-95 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, NE 13 STREET AND SOUTHBOUND NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – The following closures will be implemented between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Daytime lane closures will also be necessary at times between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- All northbound and southbound lanes on Biscayne Boulevard from NE 14 Street to NE 11 Terrace
- All lanes on NE 13 Street from N Bayshore Drive to NE 2 Avenue
- All southbound lanes on North Bayshore Drive from NE 14 Street to NE 13 Street

- Monday, February 23 through Friday, February 27 – NW 14 Street from NW 3 Avenue to NW 1 Place will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to erect precast roadway segments over the roadway. Drivers and pedestrians can use the detours shown here. These closures are expected to last approximately six weeks and will be implemented Monday through Friday.

CONCRETE POUR FOR I-395 MAINLINE BRIDGE PIER
Friday, Early Morning, February 20 – Crews will pour concrete at a bridge support pier just east of NE 1 Avenue , as shown above, between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. During the concrete pour, it will be necessary to vibrate the metal formwork to ensure the concrete is distributed evenly through the pier. Nearby residents and businesses may experience intermittent periods of higher-than-normal noise levels. Up to two lanes on NE 1 Avenue will be closed from NE 11 Street to NE 13 Street between 12:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
LANE CLOSURES ON NE 1 AVENUE
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 – Up to two lanes on NE 1 Avenue from NE 13 Street to NE 11 Street will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and between 1 a.m. and Noon on Friday.
S.R. 836 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Nighttime installation of bridge pier cap segments and beams for the S.R. 836 double-decked roadway

- Foundation construction on the S.R. 836 median and adjacent roadways from NW 12 Avenue to I-95 for the new double-decked roadway

- Wednesday, February 18 – Two eastbound lanes on S.R. 836 from NW 37 Avenue to NW 27 Avenue will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
COMPLETE CLOSURE OF EASTBOUND SR 836 AT NW 17 AVENUE
- Wednesday, February 18 through Friday, February 20 and Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27 – All eastbound S.R. 836 travel lanes will be closed at NW 17 Avenue between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Two lanes will be closed at 9 p.m. The closure on Fridays will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. Drivers on eastbound S.R. 836 will:- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound S.R. 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND S.R. 836
