I-395 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

SATURDAY SHEET PILE DRIVING OPERATIONS ADJACENT TO THE BISCAYNE BOULEVARD RAMP TO EASTBOUND MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY
On Saturday morning, January 10, the contractor will be vibrating steel sheet piles into the ground next to a Metromover pier at the location shown above. This work is being coordinated with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works and is scheduled to take place during periods when the Metromover system is offline for upgrade activities. The sheet pile installation will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The work is necessary to relocate an existing Metromover Pier to allow for the widening of the roadway. Every effort will be made to minimize noise as much as possible; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher than normal noise levels. No lane closures will be required for this operation. The sheet pile work will also occur on the following Saturday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.:

I-395 MAINLINE LANE CLOSURES
- Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 9 – One lane on mainline eastbound I-395 will be closed as needed from I-95 to Biscayne Boulevard between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 9 – Up to two lanes on mainline westbound I-395 will be closed as needed from Biscayne Boulevard to I-95 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, NE 13 STREET AND SOUTHBOUND NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE
- Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 9 – The following closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. for drainage improvement work. Daytime lane closures will also be necessary at times. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- All northbound and southbound lanes on Biscayne Boulevard from NE 14 Street to NE 11 Terrace
- All lanes on NE 13 Street from N Bayshore Drive to NE 2 Avenue
- All southbound lanes on North Bayshore Drive from NE 14 Street to NE 13 Street

DAYTIME LANE CLOSURES ON NE 2 AVENUE
- Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 9 – Up to two lanes on southbound and northbound NE 2 Avenue from NE 13 Street to I-395 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will be diverted around the work zone.
S.R. 836 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Nighttime installation of bridge pier cap segments and beams for the S.R. 836 double-decked roadway from NW 17 Avenue to the Miami River.

- Chipping concrete from auger cast piles for foundation construction between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue
- Foundation construction on the S.R. 836 median and adjacent roadways from NW 12 Avenue to I-95 for the new double-decked roadway
- Pier construction activities in the Miami River east bank between the shoreline and the fendering system
- Pier construction at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building parking area
