I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Up to four lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 29 Street to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Up to four lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed as needed from NW 8 Street to NW 29 Street between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO NW 14 STREET DETOUR
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – The southbound I-95 ramp to NW 14 Street will be closed as needed for materials delivery between 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Drivers can:
- Continue west on S.R. 836 and exit at NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 12 Avenue to connect with NW 14 Street

SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO NW 8 STREET DETOUR
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – The southbound I-95 ramp to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Continue south on I-95, then exit at the SW 7 Street/Brickell Avenue (Exit 1B) ramp
- Continue to SW 8 Street, then turn left to access the northbound I-95 ramp
- Continue north on I-95 and exit at the NW 2 Street/Arena (Exit 2B) ramp
- Continue north on NW 3 Avenue to connect with NW 8 Street

I-395 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
- Construction of signature bridge arch foundations east of Biscayne Boulevard and west of NE 2 Avenue
- Nighttime installation of precast roadway segments and concrete pours from east of North Miami Avenue to NW 3 Avenue
- Saturday morning sheet pile driving operations adjacent to the Biscayne Boulevard ramp to eastbound MacArthur Causeway
NOTE: Nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels during these activities. All efforts are being made to minimize noise levels to the fullest extent possible. - Routine daytime and nighttime testing of ACP foundations
- Ongoing placement of precast arch segments
- Nighttime and daytime roadway operations on I-395 from MacArthur Causeway to I-95
- Arch construction work over Biscayne Boulevard requiring full closures from NE 13 Street to NE 11 Terrace

I-395 MAINLINE LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – One lane on mainline eastbound I-395 will be closed as needed from I-95 to Biscayne Boulevard between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Up to two lanes on mainline westbound I-395 will be closed as needed from Biscayne Boulevard to I-95 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, NE 13 STREET AND SOUTHBOUND NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – The following closures will be implemented between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. for drainage improvement work. Daytime lane closures will also be necessary at times. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- All northbound and southbound lanes on Biscayne Boulevard from NE 14 Street to NE 11 Terrace
- All lanes on NE 13 Street from N Bayshore Drive to NE 2 Avenue
- All southbound lanes on North Bayshore Drive from NE 14 Street to NE 13 Street

NW 1 PLACE DETOUR
- Thursday, October 23 – NW 1 Place will be closed from NW 13 Street to NW 14 Street between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. to move a crane across the roadway. Drivers can use NW 2 Avenue as an alternate route.
DAYTIME LANE CLOSURES ON NE 2 AVENUE
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Up to two lanes on southbound and northbound NE 2 Avenue from NE 13 Street to I-395 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will be diverted around the work zone.
S.R. 836 ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
for the new double-decked section of S.R. 836
- Nighttime installation of bridge pier cap segments and beams for the S.R. 836 double-decked roadway from NW 17 Avenue to the Miami River.
NOTE: Nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels during these activities. All efforts are being made to minimize noise levels to the fullest extent possible. - Construction of straddle bent over eastbound S.R. 836 just west of NW 7 Avenue
- Driving steel sheets into the ground in the S.R. 836 median between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue
- Chipping concrete from auger cast piles for foundation construction between NW 12 Avenue and NW 7 Avenue
- Foundation construction on the S.R. 836 median and adjacent roadways from NW 12 Avenue to I-95 for the new double-decked roadway
- Pier construction activities in the Miami River east bank between the shoreline and the fendering system
- Pier construction at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building parking area
- Ongoing casting of bridge caps
- Construction of double-decked piers at the core of the interchange
COMPLETE CLOSURE OF EASTBOUND S.R. 836 AT NW 17 AVENUE
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – All eastbound S.R. 836 travel lanes will be closed at NW 17 Avenue between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. to work on overhead bridge support structures safely. The closures on Fridays will be implemented between 11p.m. and 7 a.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. Drivers on eastbound SR 836 will:- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound S.R. 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND S.R. 836
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – All westbound lanes on S.R. 836 will be closed from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11:30 p.m. and 8 a.m., up to two lanes will remain closed until 10 a.m. Closure start times may vary depending on events. Drivers can:
- Exit at the NW 12 Avenue ramp, then turn left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 27 Avenue and continue north to connect with the westbound S.R. 836 ramp

- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Two eastbound lanes on S.R. 836 from NW 17 Avenue to I-95 will be closed as needed for bridge work between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Two westbound lanes on S.R. 836 from I-95 to NW 17 Avenue will be closed as needed for bridge work between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
NW 14 STREET CLOSURE
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 – NW 14 Street will be closed as needed from NW 7 Avenue to NW 10 Avenue between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Additionally, one travel lane on NW 14 Street will be closed from NW 7 Avenue to NW 10 Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be routed around the work zone.
- Drivers on westbound NW 14 Street can:
- Turn right on NW 7 Avenue, then turn left on NW 17 Street
- Turn left on NW 9 Avenue and follow NW 10 Avenue to connect with NW 14 Street
- Drivers on eastbound NW 14 Street can:
- Turn left on NW 10 Avenue and follow NW 9 Avenue, then turn right on NW 17 Street
- Turn right on NW 7 Avenue to connect with NW 14 Street

- Wednesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 23 – NW 17 Avenue will be closed as needed between NW 7 Street and the north side of S.R. 836 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Drivers on northbound NW 17 Avenue heading west on S.R. 836 can:
- Turn west on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 27 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 west entrance ramp
- Drivers on northbound NW 17 Avenue continuing north can:
- Turn west on NW 7 Street, then turn right on NW 22 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 20 Street to connect with NW 17 Avenue

- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – One lane on southbound NW 7 Avenue will be closed from NW 14 Street to NW 15 Street between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The second southbound lane will be shifted to the east side of the roadway around the work zone.
DAYTIME AND NIGHTTIME CLOSURES ON NW 11 STREET FOR WORK ON THE S.R. 836 BRIDGE
- Wednesday, October 22 through Friday, October 24 and Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31 – Up to two lanes on NW 11 Street will be closed from NW 12 Street to NW 13 Avenue between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nighttime full closures of NW 11 Street within the same limits will also be implemented between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. During the nighttime full closures, drivers can use the detours below.
- Drivers on eastbound NW North River Drive can:
- Go east on NW 12 Street
- Turn right on NW 13 Avenue to connect with NW 11 Street
