Installation of a precast arch segments for one of the six arches that will part of the signature bridge. A total of 345 precast arch segments will be erected for the six arches.
STATE ROAD (SR) 836 BRIDGE CAP SEGMENT AND BEAM LIFTER

The SR 836 bridge cap segment and beam lifter started operations on Tuesday evening, June 28. The 480-foot-long lifter or gantry was specifically designed to install bridge cap segments and beams for this project. To complete the new SR 836 double decked roadway, the lifter will erect 145 bridge cap segments and 363 bridge beams. Each cap segment weighs just over 90 tons and the bridge beams range in length from 100 feet to 190 feet. To view an animated video of the lifter in action, please click below.
NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN ON THE WESTBOUND I-395 RAMP TO NORTHBOUND I-95

TUESDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 28 – The ramp from westbound I-395 to northbound I-95 will be closed and traffic will be shifted to a temporary single-lane ramp on the left side of the road. Variable Message Signs (VMS) will direct drivers going west on I-395 who want to go north on I-95 to the new temporary ramp.
NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE RAMP CLOSURE

The North Bayshore Drive ramp to eastbound MacArthur Causeway will be permanently closed on Thursday morning, September 2, to continue foundation work for the new I-395 Signature Bridge and the construction of the new permanent ramp.
CONCRETE POUR FOR THE SIGNATURE BRIDGE CENTER PIER FOOTER

On Sunday morning, July 25, the contractor completed the concrete pour for the Signature Bridge center pier footer. The operation took approximately 33 hours to complete and involved 520 trucks delivering concrete to the site with four concrete pump trucks working continuously to place the concrete into the footer. CONTINUOUS NORTHBOUND I-95 LANE CLOSURE

Starting on Wednesday morning, September 9, one outside northbound I-95 lane will be continuously closed from south of NW 14 Street to north of NW 17 Street for a period of approximately three weeks.
