FULL CLOSURE OF NORTHBOUND I-95 AT NW 8 STREET FOR TRAFFIC SHIFT FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT
All concrete pavement replacement work on northbound I-95 from NW 8 Street to NW 17 Street has been completed. As part of the next phase, all lanes on northbound I-95 and the NW 8 Street ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed as noted below to facilitate a traffic shift. This shift is scheduled for Thursday morning, August 7, with August 8 as a backup date. Travel lanes will be moved to their final alignment—approximately one foot east from NW 8 Street to NW 14 Street and about one foot west from NW 14 Street to NW 17 Street.
FULL NORTHBOUND I-95 CLOSURES AT NW 8 STREET
- Wednesday, August 6 (with Thursday, August 7 as a backup date) – All northbound I-95 lanes will be closed just north of NW 8 Street from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Access the eastbound I-395 ramp, then exit at NE 2 Avenue/Biscayne Boulevard (Exit 2B)
- Turn right at NE 2 Avenue, then turn right at NE 11 Street
- Turn right at NE 1 Avenue, then access the ramp to I-95 to continue north

NW 8 STREET RAMP TO NORTHBOUND I-95 CLOSURE
- Wednesday, August 6 (with Thursday, August 7 as a backup date) – The NW 8 Street ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Go east on NW 8 Street
- Turn left on NE 1 Avenue
- Enter the westbound I-395 ramp to access northbound I-95

NIGHTTIME CONCRETE POUR ADJACENT TO NW 3 AVENUE AND NW 14 STREET
Wednesday early morning, August 6, and Thursday early morning, August 7 – The project contractor will conduct concrete pours in the areas shown above, adjacent to NW 3 Avenue and NW 14 Street, for the new higher capacity I-395 mainline bridges. The concrete pours will begin at 2 a.m. and continue until approximately 11 a.m. Every effort will be made to minimize noise as much as possible; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels. No lane closures will be required for this operation.
NIGHTTIME CLOSURES OF NW 15 AVENUE UNDER S.R. 836 FOR BRIDGE WORK
- Tuesday, August 5 through Friday, August 8 – NW 15 Avenue will be closed under S.R. 836 as needed between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. to allow the project contractor to perform overhead bridge work.
