REMINDER: FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND I-395/S.R. 836 AND THE I-95 RAMPS TO WESTBOUND S.R. 836
Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11 – All westbound Interstate 395 (I-395) lanes at Biscayne Boulevard will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The I-395 ramps to northbound and southbound I-95 will remain open for drivers using the Downtown Miami ramp to westbound I-395.
Starting at 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., westbound State Road (S.R.) 836 will be closed from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue, and the northbound and southbound I-95 ramps to westbound S.R. 836 will also be closed.
These closures are necessary to facilitate the staging of a crane and equipment for the safe installation of reinforcing steel and formwork ahead of a concrete pour for a bridge pier adjacent to S.R. 836.
- Drivers on westbound I-395 continuing to S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the Biscayne Boulevard ramp (Exit 2) and continue west on NE 13 Street
- Turn right on NE 1 Avenue, and then turn left on NW 14 Street
- Continue west on NW 14 Street, turn left onto NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- Downtown Miami drivers heading west to S.R. 836 can:
- Turn right on NE 1 Avenue, and then turn left on NW 14 Street
- Continue west on NW 14 Street, turn left onto NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- NOTE: Drivers entering the ramp will only have access to northbound and southbound I-95
- Drivers on northbound I-95 heading to westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at NW 2 Street (Exit 2B) and continue north on NW 3 Avenue
- Turn left on NW 3 Street, then turn right on NW North River Drive
- Go north on NW 7 Avenue, then turn onto NW 8 Street Road
- Turn left on NW 11 Street and then left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- Drivers on southbound I-95 heading to westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the NW 14 Street ramp, continue west to NW 12 Avenue
- Turn left at NW 12 Avenue, then turn right on NW 7 Street
- Continue on NW 7 Street, then turn right at NW 17 Avenue to access the westbound S.R. 836 entrance ramp

- Exit at the NW 12 Avenue ramp, then turn left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 17 Avenue and continue north to connect with the westbound S.R. 836 ramp

NORTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO EASTBOUND I-395 DETOUR
- Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11 – The northbound I-95 ramp to eastbound I-395 will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Lane closure times will be adjusted to accommodate special events in the area. Drivers can:
- Exit at the NW 2 Street ramp (Exit 2B)
- Continue north on NW 3 Avenue, then turn right on NW 8 Street
- Continue east on NW/NE 8 Street
- Turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to access A1A North/Miami Beach
