CONTINUOUS LANE CLOSURES ON NE 13 STREET AND BISCAYNE BOULEVARD FOR CRITICAL DRAINAGE WORK
The weekend closure on NE 13 Street, noted below and shown above is being implemented to allow the project contractor to continue the installation of new drainage pipes and structures across NE 13 Street to enhance the drainage capacity in the area:
Friday, July 24 through Monday, July 27
Biscayne Boulevard and NE 13 Street will be fully closed on the following dates and times:
- Starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 24, until 6 a.m. on Monday, July 27, NE 13 Street will be closed from Biscayne Boulevard to NE 2 Avenue. The southbound Biscayne Boulevard right turn only lane onto NE 13 Street will also be closed during this time frame.
Detour for NE 13 Street:
- Drivers on northbound Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn left on NE 11 Street
- Turn right on NE 1 Avenue to connect with NE 13 Street
- Drivers on southbound Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn right on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on NE 2 Avenue to connect with NE 13 Street

Detours for Full Closure of Biscayne Boulevard, Southbound North Bayshore Drive and NE 13 Street:
- Drivers on northbound Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn left on NE 11 Street, then turn right on NE 1 Avenue
- Turn right on NE 14 Street, then turn right on NE 2 Avenue to connect with NE 13 Street
- Or continue east on NE 14 Street to reconnect with Biscayne Boulevard
- Drivers on southbound Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn right on NE 14 Street, then turn left on NE 2 Avenue to connect with NE 13 Street
- Or continue south on NE 2 Avenue, then turn left on NE 11 Terrace to reconnect with Biscayne Boulevard
- Drivers on the MacArthur Causeway ramp to Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn right on northbound North Bayshore Drive, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on NE 2 Avenue to connect with NE 13 Street
- Or continue south on NE 2 Avenue, then turn left on NE 11 Terrace to reconnect with Biscayne Boulevard

CANCELED: WESTBOUND MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY RAMP TO BISCAYNE BOULEVARD CLOSURE
CANCELED: The scheduled closure of the westbound MacArthur Causeway ramp to Biscayne Boulevard on Sunday, July 26, between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., has been canceled. The ramp will remain open to traffic.
SCHEDULE UPDATE: CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND I-395 AT BISCAYNE BOULEVARD AND THE DOWNTOWN RAMP TO I-395
Thursday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 28 – Drivers should expect overnight closures of westbound I-395 and the downtown Miami entrance ramp to I-395 from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. to allow crews to safely deliver and erect bridge beams. Closure times may be adjusted to accommodate special events.
Westbound I-395 Closure at Biscayne Boulevard Detour:
- Exit at the Biscayne Boulevard ramp, and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard
- Continue south on Biscayne Boulevard, then turn right on NE 6 Street
- Continue east on NE/NW 6 Street and turn left on NW 7 Avenue
- Turn right on NW South River Drive onto NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 17 Avenue to access the ramp to westbound S.R. 836
Drivers continuing to I-95 can:
- Exit at the Biscayne Boulevard ramp, and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard
- Continue south on Biscayne Boulevard and turn right on NE 6 Street
- Turn right on NW 3 Avenue to access the NORTHBOUND I-95 RAMP or
- Turn left on NW 3 Court to access the SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP

Downtown Ramp to Westbound I-395 Detour:
- Drivers heading north on I-95 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on North Miami Avenue, turn right on NW 8 Street
- Turn right on NW 3 Avenue to access the ramp to northbound I-95
- Drivers heading south on I-95 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on North Miami Avenue, turn right on NW 8 Street
- Turn left on NW 3 Court to access the ramp to southbound I-95
- Drivers heading west on S.R. 836 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Continue on west on NW 14 Street, then make a slight left at NW 13 Terrace
- Turn right on NW North River Drive, then turn left on NW 17 Avenue
- Go over the Miami River Bridge and access the ramp to westbound S.R. 836
