I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Up to four lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 29 Street to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Up to four lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed as needed from NW 8 Street to NW 29 Street between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
NORTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO EASTBOUND I-395 DETOUR
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 – The northbound I-95 ramp to eastbound I-395 will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Exit at the NW 2 Street ramp (Exit 2B)
- Continue north on NW 3 Avenue, then turn right on NW 8 Street
- Continue east on NW/NE 8 Street
- Turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to access A1A North/Miami Beach

NW 8 STREET RAMP TO NORTHBOUND I-95 CLOSURE
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 – The NW 8 Street ramp to northbound I-95 will be closed between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Schedule will be adjusted for special events. Drivers can:
- Go east on NW 8 Street
- Turn left on NE 1 Avenue
- Enter the westbound I-395 ramp to access northbound I-95

NW 17 STREET LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – One lane on NW 17 Street from NW 5 Avenue to NW 7 Avenue will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
I-395
SATURDAY SHEET PILE DRIVING OPERATIONS ADJACENT TO THE BISCAYNE BOULEVARD RAMP TO EASTBOUND MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY
On Saturday morning, February 14, the contractor will be vibrating steel sheet piles into the ground next to a Metromover pier at the location shown above. This work is being coordinated with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works and is scheduled to take place during periods when the Metromover system is offline for upgrade activities. The sheet pile installation will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The work is necessary to relocate an existing Metromover Pier to allow for the widening of the roadway. Every effort will be made to minimize noise as much as possible; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher than normal noise levels. No lane closures will be required for this operation. The sheet pile work will also occur on Saturday, February 21 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Schedule information for additional Saturday work will be provided in future updates.
I-395 MAINLINE LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – One lane on mainline eastbound I-395 will be closed as needed from I-95 to Biscayne Boulevard between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Up to two lanes on mainline westbound I-395 will be closed as needed from Biscayne Boulevard to I-95 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
NORTH MIAMI AVENUE DETOUR
- Wednesday, February 11 – All lanes on North Miami Avenue will be closed between NE 13 Street and just south of I-395 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Go west on NW 14 Street, then turn left at NW 3 Avenue
- Continue south on NW 3 Avenue to NW 10 Street
- Turn left at NW 10 Street to connect with North Miami Avenue

FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, NE 13 STREET AND SOUTHBOUND NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – The following closures will be implemented between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Daytime lane closures will also be necessary at times between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- All northbound and southbound lanes on Biscayne Boulevard from NE 14 Street to NE 11 Terrace
- All lanes on NE 13 Street from N Bayshore Drive to NE 2 Avenue
- All southbound lanes on North Bayshore Drive from NE 14 Street to NE 13 Street

- Friday, February 13 – NW 14 Street from NW 3 Avenue to NW 1 Place will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers and pedestrians can use the detours shown here. Daytime single lane closures will be implemented between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- Drivers on eastbound NW 14 Street can:
- Turn right on NW 3 Avenue, then turn left on NW 13 Street
- Turn left on NW 1 Place to connect with NW 14 Street
- Drivers on westbound NW 14 Street can:
- Turn right on NW 1 Court, then turn left on NW 15 Street
- Turn right on NW 2 Avenue, then turn left on NW 16 Street
- Turn left on NW 3 Avenue to connect with NW 14 Street
- Drivers on eastbound NW 14 Street can:
LANE CLOSURES ON NE 2 AVENUE
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Up to two lanes on southbound and northbound NE 2 Avenue from NE 13 Street to I-395 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will be diverted around the work zone.
S.R. 836
S.R. 836 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Two eastbound lanes on S.R. 836 from NW 17 Avenue to I-95 will be closed as needed for bridge work between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – Two westbound lanes on S.R. 836 from I-95 to NW 17 Avenue will be closed as needed for bridge work between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m.
COMPLETE CLOSURE OF EASTBOUND S.R. 836 AT NW 17 AVENUE
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – All eastbound S.R. 836 travel lanes will be closed at NW 17 Avenue between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Two lanes will be closed at 9 p.m. The closure on Fridays will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. Drivers on eastbound SR 836 will:- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound S.R. 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND S.R. 836
- Wednesday, February 11 through Friday, February 13 and Sunday, February 15 through Friday, February 20 – All westbound lanes on S.R. 836 will be closed as needed from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Two lanes will be closed at 9 p.m. The closure on Fridays will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- Drivers on westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the NW 12 Avenue ramp, then turn left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 27 Avenue and continue north to connect with the westbound S.R. 836 ramp
