NIGHTTIME SHEET PILE DRIVING OPERATIONS ADJACENT TO THE BISCAYNE BOULEVARD RAMP TO EASTBOUND MACARTHUR CAUSEWAY

Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 – The contractor will vibrate steel sheet piles into the ground next to a Metromover pier at the location shown above between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. This work is coordinated with the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works and is scheduled to occur during periods when the Metromover system is offline for upgrade activities.
The work is necessary to relocate an existing Metromover Pier to allow for roadway widening. Every effort will be made to minimize noise; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels. No lane closures will be required for this operation. Schedule information for additional work will be provided in future updates.
TEMPORARY SIDEWALK CLOSURE ON BISCAYNE BOULEVARD

Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 – The sidewalk on the west side of Biscayne Boulevard between NE 11 Terrace and NE 13 Street will be closed to pedestrian traffic as needed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Pedestrians will be redirected to NE 2nd Avenue as indicated above. This sidewalk closure is necessary to allow the project contractor to perform overhead work safely.
