STATE ROAD (S.R.) 836 LANE CLOSURES FOR A BRIDGE DECK CONCRETE POUR AND FORMWORK REMOVAL OVER THE ROADWAY
FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND S.R. 836
- Friday, January 9 through Saturday, January 10 – All westbound S.R. 836 lanes from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 10. If needed, two lanes will remain closed between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
- Drivers on westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the NW 12 Avenue ramp, then turn left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street
- Turn right on NW 27 Avenue and continue north to connect with the westbound S.R. 836 ramp

COMPLETE CLOSURE OF EASTBOUND S.R. 836 AT NW 17 AVENUE
- Friday, January 9 through Saturday, January 10 – All eastbound S.R. 836 travel lanes will be closed at NW 17 Avenue starting at 11 p.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 10. If needed, two lanes will remain closed between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. Drivers on eastbound S.R. 836 will:- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound S.R. 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
EXTENDED CLOSURE OF THE DOWNTOWN RAMP TO WESTBOUND I-395 AT NE 1 AVENUE
Saturday, January 10 through Sunday, January 11 – The left lane on the downtown Miami ramp to westbound I-395 will be closed at NE 1 Avenue on Saturday, January 10, from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. At 11:30 p.m., the entire ramp will close and will remain closed continuously until 9 a.m. on Sunday, January 11. At 9 a.m., the right lane on the ramp will reopen, while the left ramp lane will remain closed until 11:30 a.m.
- Drivers heading north on I-95 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on North Miami Avenue, turn right on NW 8 Street
- Turn right on NW 3 Avenue to access the ramp to northbound I-95
- Drivers heading south on I-95 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Turn left on North Miami Avenue, turn right on NW 8 Street
- Turn left on NW 3 Court to access the ramp to southbound I-95
- Drivers heading west on S.R. 836 can:
- Go north on NE 1 Avenue, then turn left on NE 14 Street
- Continue on west on NW 14 Street, then make a slight left at NW 13 Terrace
- Turn right on NW North River Drive, then turn left on NW 17 Avenue
- Go over the Miami River Bridge and access the ramp to westbound S.R. 836
